Several Rochester-area hotels, bars and travel hubs are among the most popular ride-hailing destinations in the Rochester region, according to ride-hailing company Uber.
Ride-hailing services in upstate New York, including Rochester, started June 29. According to Uber, thousands have logged miles via the the ride-hailing service.
The final days of 2017 marked the six-month anniversary of ride-hailing, which allows riders to summon a driver with the push of a button on a smartphone app. UberEATS, a food delivery service, launched in Rochester in November.
Predictably, the Greater Rochester International Airport topped the list of the most popular drop-off destinations in the Rochester region. Also not a surprise, the busiest time of service is Friday and Saturday evenings, according to Uber.
Several spots on the list were also popular destinations within the first month of Uber’s local service, including Murphy’s Law, Lux Lounge and Radio Social.
